The twin towers of St. Mary's Church
known as Reculver takes its place in history as the site of the official birthplace of Christianity in England. The coastline to the West was also one of the testing areas for the famous Barnes Wallis "Dambuster" bouncing bombs in April 1943.
Here the towers are seen with the stunning sunset on unusually tranquil seas.
The Reculver towers can be found just to the East of Herne Bay.
